There are clothes all over the floor,
My dead goldfish by the door
An old pizza box lies on my bed
I have a lifetime's worth of work ahead
I'm getting super stressed
Why couldn't my parents be like the rest?
They always expect my room to be spick and span
Oh gee! I need another dust pan!
I see my homework from a month ago
And the season five dvds of my favorite show
Ew! something smells kinda funky
I look to my right and see something curdled and chunky
I think I'm going to barf!
Oh my, is that my favorite scarf?
I take a look and what do I see?
A pile of dog poop and a dribble of pee
"Overwhelmed" is quite the understatement
My "vote for Taylor Templeton" poster is out of shape and bent
Something unexpected catches my eye
It's the carpet I see; I just might cry!
